∆# What is flipped learning?
Flipped Learning redefines the classroom by shifting traditional instruction to individual learning, allowing for a more dynamic group environment where educators facilitate creative engagement and concept application. For more insights, explore the Flipped Learning Network. Dive deeper into the bridge course on Existentialism through the teacher's blog, Existentialism: Video Resources.

In the very third vedio I am impressed by this thought...
Existentialist philosophy emphasizes individual freedom, responsibility, and the search for meaning in an inherently absurd and indifferent universe. It argues that humans define their own essence through their actions and choices rather than through pre-existing characteristics or external factors. Existentialists believe that individuals must confront the anxiety and despair that arise from the realization of their own mortality and the absence of inherent meaning in the world, ultimately striving to create their own values and find authentic fulfillment in the face of these existential challenges.

In the very first vedio I am impressed by this thought...
Existentialists typically view free will as central to human existence. They argue that individuals have the capacity to make choices and shape their own lives, even in the face of external influences or predetermined circumstances. However, with this freedom comes a profound sense of personal responsibility. Existentialists believe that individuals are responsible for their actions and the consequences that arise from them, and they must confront the ethical implications of their decisions without relying on external moral guidelines or authorities. This emphasis on personal responsibility underscores the importance of authenticity and integrity in the existentialist conception of human existence.
∆ In what ways do existentialist thinkers address the search for meaning and purpose in life?
Existentialist thinkers address the search for meaning and purpose in life by emphasizing the importance of individual choice and responsibility. They argue that humans must confront the inherent absurdity and emptiness of existence and create their own meaning through their actions, relationships, and pursuits. Existentialists reject the idea of a predetermined or universal purpose and instead encourage individuals to embrace the freedom to define their own values and goals. This process often involves grappling with existential questions such as the meaning of life, the nature of authenticity, and the significance of human relationships. Ultimately, existentialists believe that by engaging authentically with the challenges and opportunities of existence, individuals can find fulfillment and create meaning in their lives.
#∆ How do existentialists approach the idea of authenticity and living an authentic life?
Existentialists approach the idea of authenticity by emphasizing the importance of living in accordance with one's true self, values, and convictions. Authenticity involves being honest with oneself, taking responsibility for one's choices, and acting in alignment with one's deepest beliefs and desires. Existentialists argue that living authentically requires individuals to confront the inherent ambiguity and uncertainty of existence, as well as the societal pressures and expectations that may pull them away from their true selves.
To live authentically, individuals must engage in self-reflection, questioning, and introspection to uncover their genuine desires and beliefs. They must also have the courage to make choices and take actions that are true to themselves, even in the face of external judgment or adversity. By embracing authenticity, existentialists believe that individuals can live more meaningful and fulfilling lives, finding purpose and satisfaction in their pursuit of self-expression and self- realization.

In the very tenth vedio I am impressed by this thought...
In the existentialist framework, individual choice and decision-making play a central role in shaping one's existence. Existentialists argue that humans are fundamentally free to choose their own paths and create their own meanings in life. This freedom of choice is both empowering and daunting, as it requires individuals to take responsibility for their actions and confront the consequences of their decisions.
Existentialists emphasize the importance of authentic decision-making, which involves making choices that reflect one's true self and values rather than succumbing to external pressures or societal expectations. By exercising their freedom to choose, individuals define their own essence and shape the course of their lives. However, this freedom also entails a sense of existential anxiety, as individuals grapple with the uncertainty and responsibility inherent in their choices.
Ultimately, existentialists believe that by embracing their freedom and taking ownership of their decisions, individuals can live more meaningful and authentic lives, finding purpose and fulfillment in the pursuit of self-determined goals and values.
∆∆#Learning outcome
In this flipped learning activity, I observed that as a student, we don't depend on the teacher for quick solutions. Instead, we relish the process of discovering things independently, which enhances the learning journey. Additionally, while I had some prior knowledge about the theory, engaging in a task made it exhilarating to explore a specific topic in depth, such as Existentialism.
