I am dealing with Mere kavi Dost.... 

मेरे कवि दोस्त वक़्त आ गया है 
कि कविता मंडलियों और जत्थों से 
आज़ाद होकर बीच सड़क पर धरना दे
तुम्हारी कविता मेरे कवि दोस्त
अपने महबूब से मिलने उससे बिछड़ने
उसके जाने पर खाली हुए मकान की
कहानी कह-कह कर थक गयी है
देश मूल्यों से खाली हो रहा है

ओछेपन ने नैतिकता को रद्दी
के भाव बेच दिया है
पत्रकारों को की औलाद कहना 
हो गया है हर बहस का 
आख़िरी जवाब

किसान के घटते और बिल्डर
के बढ़ते पेट की गति समान हो गयी है
अनाज खिलाने वाला गोली खा रहा है
हमारी सड़कों पर छितरा
उसके पैर की छालों से निकला खून 
हमारे शहर के माथे पर कलंक है

अपने बच्चों को लटकता देख भी
वो हमारे बच्चों के लिए 
अन्न उगाना नहीं करेगा बंद
हमारी ख़ुदगर्ज़ी ने छोड़े होंगे 
हमारे अंदर इंसानियत के कुछ अंश
तो हम पूछेंगे सवाल
नहीं खाएंगे खाना 
जब हम पढ़ेंगे उनकी आत्महत्याओं के बारे में 

आज़ाद हिंदुस्तान के सीवेज पाइप में 
दम घुटकर मरता दलित
नफ़रत का दुकानें, धर्मों की लड़ाई में 
आहुति देतीं निर्दोष बच्चियां
बन कर रह गयी हैं राजनीति का सस्ता औज़ार

∆ poems message:

This poignant poem reflects on the societal issues in contemporary India, addressing themes of activism, morality, and the impact of divisive ideologies. It emphasizes the need for introspection and action in the face of growing challenges, urging a reconnection with humanity and a collective responsibility for a better future. The verses vividly portray the struggles faced by various sections of society, highlighting the harsh realities and calling for a united effort to preserve essential values and humanity.
 
∆ Questions arise while reading the poem :

1.Critique the decline of morality, where journalists are insulted with derogatory terms in every debate, portraying a worrying trend in the way discussions are conducted?

2.  Draw a parallel between the diminishing prosperity of farmers and the increasing wealth of builders, highlighting the disparity and the struggles faced by those who feed the nation?

3.  Expressing concern about the violence on our streets, symbolized by the blood on the soles of a laborer's feet and the stain on our city's forehead?

4. Suggest a bleak future where due to someone else's self-centeredness, the person might not grow crops for our children, leaving them without food?

5.Narrate the tragic stories of marginalized individuals facing death in sewage pipes, innocent girls becoming victims of hate in religious conflicts, and politics exploiting the cheap tools of hatred?
